With links to the University of Oxford’s Physics Department, Oxford Scientific Products (OSP) is a small Oxfordshire-based electronics engineering company, which was first established over 30 years ago. The company has been involved with the sale, repair and servicing of nuclear radiation monitoring equipment and sensors.
During the 1990s, OSP served as the dedicated UK sales and servicing agents for Merlin Gerin Provence (which is now Schneider Electric) in the supply of nuclear radiation monitoring dosimeters.
In recent years, OSP has supplied equipment and apparatus for use in the DESY Research Centre in Hamburg, and for other internationally-based clientele.
The current focus of the business is with the production, testing and servicing of the REM Oxford RADFETs and RADFET readers. This equipment was designed by the late physicist Dr Andrew Holmes-Siedle and is used to measure levels of ionising radiation in the ionosphere.
Over the course of several years, I have worked with OSP on an ad-hoc basis, providing Administrative Assistance and Graphic Design Consultancy, as and when required.
Tesmond Rowe (TAZ) is a recording artist, songwriter, producer and promoter.
He earned an Ivor Novello Award (Best Contemporary Song) in 2003 for his collaboration in writing “Jus’ A Rascal” performed by Dizzee Rascal.
Between 2010 and 2014, I provided Art Work, Design and Consultancy for his current projects and promotions. This included updating his personal (TAZ) logo, creating logos for other projects; and producing promotional artwork and fliers.
